Sunray shoots to the top of the ratings with its new SR6 ExcluDoor

Sunray Engineering continues to push the boundaries when it comes to manufacturing industrial and security rated doors and is the first company to achieve an SR6 high security rating with its sleek 45mm, standard thickness, ExcluDoor 6 steel door incorporating single point locking.

Individually custom manufactured to exacting standards, Sunray’s LPS 1175 SR6 issue 7 doorsets have undergone thorough independent testing by the Loss Prevention Certification Board and are certified to withstand a sustained attack using a combination of high specification power and hand tools.

Available with Mico Abryll single point locking, internally and / or externally keyed, on both single and double doors, the ExcluDoor 6 steel door further extends the company’s vast security door range and should prove popular where ultimate security is of paramount importance.  This includes banks, building societies and other financial institutions; strategic utility buildings; Government premises and police stations – in fact anywhere where high security combined with an aesthetic look is needed.

Another Sunray first is the approval of our SR6 rated “ExcluGlass” vision panel to complement this door range creating a unique door specification in the marketplace.

In addition to having a standard 45mm door leaf thickness, other key features of the ExcluDoor 6 include: a minimum of four tough recessed stainless steel hinges with anti-crush fixings; unique independent hooked dog bolts to the hinge side; and a specially designed anti-lever cover plate to the closing edge of the door leaf.

Manufactured using electro-zinc coated steel for increased corrosion resistance, each doorset is finished in one coat of grey etch primer as standard and a wide selection of powder coated colours can also be factory specified.
