Sunray Leads The Way With Integrated Management Systems
Sunray is one of the first UK companies to achieve the highly coveted ISO certification for its ‘Integrated Management Systems’ (IMS), proving that the company provides the highest possible levels of quality and service to its customers.
The ISO standards apply to organisations involved in the design, development, manufacture and installation of products and services. To become certified, a business must implement a comprehensive system that takes into account legal requirement and legislation, environmental sensitivity and compliance as well as the ability to demonstrate in detail the due processes across the entire business which of course are then audited.
Sunray’s achievement of the three standards required the implementation of procedural mapping, employee training, systematic processes and sustainable development. The assessment included a comprehensive audit and inspection of key departments to ensure the processes, practices and supporting documentation worked, and the ability to track and self-measure was effective.
Ian Wilson, Sunray’s IMS Manager stated “Integrating our environmental, quality control, and health and safety management systems into one, has enabled us to provide stronger controls for our management team, and created a level of transparency throughout the business.
“ISO certification of our IMS gives our customers the assurance that we have the appropriate quality control, environmental, occupational health and HSE policies in place, and that our products and services adhere to the highest possible standards.”
Sunray’s Managing Director, Sean Ballard, concludes: “This is a remarkable achievement which the team should be thoroughly proud of, and is a result of sheer hard work and dedication to achieving the expectations required by all three international standards.”
